Claire L. Preston, CPA has been working in the field of accounting since 1993. She graduated with honors from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut in 1995 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. She passed the CPA Exam in Connecticut in 1996 while working for the international accounting firm, Deloitte & Touche LLP, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1997 after completing Connecticut's requirement of three years of public accounting experience. She has nearly two decades of accounting experience, including both public firms and private industry. Her concentration has always been in income tax preparation for businesses and individuals. Her other areas of expertise include sales taxes, payroll taxes, property taxes, and bookkeeping services. She has an excellent working knowledge of QuickBooks software. Claire moved to Colorado in December 2005. She has since transferred her CPA license from Connecticut to Colorado. Since her move, she has focused on growing her own CPA practice, Preston Accounting Services, LLC, in the Fort Collins area.
